Grandmas Recipes


I am planning to make a family recipes and traditions scrapbook so I asked my Grandma to send me her favorite recipes. I am so excited that she has sent me several of them and her directions for quick canning tomatoes!
I really love my Grandma Bonnie. :)
Here is one of her delicious favorites:
RHUBARB CREAM PIE
MIX:
1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
3 TBLSP. FLOUR
1/2 TSP NUTMEG
1 TBLSP. BUTTER
ADD:
2 WELL BEATEN EGGS
3 CUPS CUT RHUBARB
POUR INTO ONE 9 INCH PASTRY LINED PIE PAN. TOP WITH PASTRY CUT INTO "FANCY" SHAPES.
BAKE IN VERY HOT (450) DEGREE OVEN FOR 10 MINUTES AND THEN AT 350 FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES.
