Romans 12:18-19

"If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [God's] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord."
Unfortunately it is not possible to make others choose peace. When you truly desire peace with another and they would rather dwell in anger,denial and blame there is nothing left but prayer and wishing. Also unfortunate is that knowing that you have tried to make peace and been rejected does not make you feel more peaceful about the situation. The people that have the most power to hurt you are the ones that own a piece of your heart.
