Lazy day
Today was a quiet one.We have played games, watched movies and spent our time together.
I made smothered pork steaks, southern style fried potatoes and green beans for supper.
Isaiah and Emma have been playing Star wars in his room for a while and I'm going to go take a bath.
It's funny how easy it is to get caught up in secondary relationships and worrying about the people who don't love you when the important things are staring you in the face. I am so grateful that I feel no more turmoil in my mind and heart and God has reminded me how very good I really have it. I know I'll still think about old times and losses from time to time but it doesn't really hurt anymore.
Thank you Lord!

Yesterday
We finally took Emma to the zoo.( Isaiah wanted to stay with grandma so he didn't go this time.) Unfortunately I didn't realize that there was no memory card in my camera until we were there. :( I did get video though and Emma had a good time.
Later we went grocery shopping and Emma took her cart and was my helper. :)
(The pictures were taken at Rolling Hills but I didn't take them.)

More contractions
The contractions are making a habit of showing up at bed time and keeping me awake for several hours. Doctor says they haven't accomplished much yet but we're just waiting to see how long it keeps up. The good news is that he thinks he felt the head down where it should be. :)
Now I have a lot to do to get ready for a trip to Wichita. Baby's bag is packed and I need one for myself, hubby and kids. I need to make a list and get a few things from the store. I also have some cleaning to do and baby furniture to set up. It could be a few more weeks but it could be any day.
This pregnancy has gone by so quickly! It's strange that it's almost over. :)

Contractions
Contractions for three hours, five minutes apart. Thought they stopped but I guess they just slowed down. Waiting to see what happens.

QUOTES
In some families, please is described as the magic word. In our house, however, it was sorry. ~Margaret Laurence
Family quarrels are bitter things. They don't go by any rules. They're not like aches or wounds; they're more like splits in the skin that won't heal because there's not enough material. ~F. Scott Fitzgerald
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”
Dr. Seuss quotes
“I believe the only people that should be around a child and raising a child are people who absolutely, 100 percent love that child”
truthism Angelina Jolie
“Where does the family start? It starts with a young man falling in love with a girl - no superior alternative has yet been found”
Winston Churchill quotes
The family you come from isn't as important as the family you're going to have”
Ring Lardner

Having a nice day.
Enjoyed the mid-day rain.
Grandma went and spent another 120.00 on Isaiah's Star Wars collection. ( yes, spoiled, lucky boy :)
Hubby is putting the stereo into our van.
Emma fell asleep cuddling with mommy and is on the chair.
I made my best ever Peach Cobbler last night and had it for breakfast. YUM!
Made chicken and gravy over rice and baby peas for supper.
Baby boy is wiggling and kicking up a storm today.
So glad it's not hot today! I think we're going to the zoo tomorrow. :)

Contentment
I am feeling so good today! My mind is clear and my heart is at peace.
I know that I have tried my best to reconcile a difficult relationship and even though the relationship is officially over, I feel free and content with my efforts. I know for sure that the other party doesn't care to have a relationship with me but am amazingly OK with that. I guess the false hope was harder to cope with than the reality.
I love my life and am content.
God is good and is faithful to keep us strong on a hard path.

"Biblical" world view test
Your classification is: Strong Biblical Worldview Thinker
Congratulations You Are A Strong Biblical Worldview Thinker. Click here to print your certificate.
Your score is: 139 points of 166 possible, 83%
I'm glad it wasn't 100% because the test should have been called "What percent of the typical modern idea of Christianity and Humanity do you agree with".
I don't beleive that babies are born with a sinful nature, but rather completely pure examples of God's design. Neither do I beleive that we have a godly heritage or that the founding fathers were saints!
